What is your name?
Tell us a bit about yourself/background
When did you start doing this?
I started in 2015 when I purchased my first camera.
How was the reaction/feedback from those around you (family/friends)?
They love what I do. They see my passion and talent for it and believe I will go far with my career path.
What inspires your art?
Inspiration is all around me, from everyday household items to the most beautiful locations. I am inspired by everything. Black people, clothing, animals, small objects, bug objects, locations, cultures etc.
What is your favorite piece and why?
Every time I come up with a new concept and turn it into a reality, that becomes my new favorite piece. Because I strive to be better than I was yesterday.
Who would you like to work with /who inspires you/ which artist do you admire?
I'm inspired by other photographers in my community and age group. Seeing beautiful work, they're creating motivates me to think outside the box and work to continue to outdo myself each time.
To be a creative director/photographer for big magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Complex, Paper, etc. Also own a photography studio of my own. And later in life teach what I know to kids at a young age that you can have a career in the arts, because I wasn't exposed to that knowledge until my last year in high school. We have to train creatives of the future.
What advice do you have for anybody out there who wants to be an artist like you?
Trust yourself, if you feel like you have a talent and you love what you do, do it with your chest and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
